Note paper and a tack — pshero

Here's the first blog about a cool tutorial site, pshero. At work we are only just transitioning from Photoshop 7 to Photoshop CS. We don't have the Suite because before we transitioned to CS in '09, we transitioned to Quark 7.5, in '08. I bought CS2 a few years ago and was really getting into it but since returning to New Orleans in 2007 and to my job at a small newspaper, I haven't had much opportunity to use it. This year I decided to "go to school at home" with my innumerable CS2 books and online tutorials. I've had so much fun the last two weeks, I decided to start a blog—as if I don't have other things to do. Ah well.
Since I've never created note paper like this—with holes and tattered edges and a lifted end—I knew this one would be fun. I went one step further to curl the edge but I didn't do the adding depth with shadows. Another time.
Technically, PSHERO didn't create a tack tutorial; he created a Vista Error Icon tutorial and I used it as a tack on the note paper.
It just happens that all links are for PSHERO. Sometimes it may be two or more authors—you never know. I'm just going with the flow.
